Gluten Free Concepts L.L.C.
Currently a Surgical Nurse
Coordinator, Debbie would not have imagined that her 40 plus year
history of “from scratch” baking for friends and family members had
the potential to become a commercial venture until Celiac Disease
entered her life. Her passion for baking and her ability to
combine creativity and knowledge of the unique chemistry of gluten
free baking has resulted in bread products that are unique and
delicious.
David began working in his
father’s restaurant at the age of 12. David spent the next seven
years learning the fundemantas of cooking, serving and managing in
a restaurant enviroment. Eager to try something different, David
accepted a job as a manager trainee for a retail footware company
in Southern California. Quickly moving into store management and
evnetually district managment, David stayed with this firm for the
next 14 years. Moving to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1989, David began
working for a national rental equipment company. During the next
20+ years David worked in management and industrial sales.
David was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2007. Missing the taste
and texture of bread products, David and his wife Debbie, began
experimenting and developing their own gluten-free recipes. Gluten
Free Concepts was born in June of 2010 and has been manufacturing
sandwich breads, buns, and dinner rolls for food service and retail
markets.
